Khondokar Mahmud Hasan is a jurist, and was also the former chief justice of Bangladesh. He had a chequered career spanning more than 40 years in the legal profession including being a former International Associate of the American Bar Association, former part time lecturer of law, Dhaka University and a former member of the Bangladesh Bar Council. He was also the Governor of the Pilot Project Design Committee for introducing Mediation in the Family Courts of Bangladesh.
